Shitty, shitty
Pylons got killed -> no harash at all
!! Due to some mystery was able to hold 3rd.
Stargate reaction to infestation pit was slow.
Did not storm..
Gass floated but got it spent laters..however was slow to take on 5th and 6th gass. Also not right away collecting from 4th.
Chronos were floating ;__;
Did use gs once engaging ^-^
Did not make archons to buffer damage
Did split swarm hosts with ff

Game 2 PvP
Lost exp to stalkers.. momma not early enough? exp not early enough?
Made too many gates? Should have made units and robo?
Also should have been m,roe aware and attack earlier as they took quite fast 3rd..
Also the main fight was not in the best of angles..
Forgot about ups lol :D
The attack angle for the main battle was not the best..

Feeling: ARGH, I am so f*ken disgusted with my game count ;____;

Daily motivational: Self discipline means deliberately aligning our energy with our values and priorities. Through mental practice we focus in on a task before us and lets other temptations and distractions pass us by. 

But.. lets list some mistakes & toughts for ze future.. if there will ever be one

Game 2: PvT
Time bombing with momma: :// oh come on
Possible situations: When their shit was flowing down the ramp for the final battle

Keeping chrono spent: nigga plz.. after 10mins -> FAIL

Spreading pylons in base: goodiness
Spreading pylons around map: nice, but replenish more often, also behind minerals

Zealots stalking for expansions: goodiness <3

Units/Robo usage: after colos, some immos and obs to fill the view
btw, they may have overmade vikings

scouting: spotted a very late 3rd <3

game flow: maybe should have 1st defended the drop, then expanded?
hmn, if they allow u to gain 3colo + lance --> try to puuush

OMG: the deciding fight actually went ~well, would have just needed more units. Maybe warped zeals during the battle. Considering that was behind in upgrades, and was behind in unit count. The other forge should be maybe taken when making twilight. Should have targeted the lonely medivac after they tried to puuush

Game flow: "lul, no tech, spire comming, lets just kill them" CORRECT DECISION MAKING <3
Macro: actually stopped looking at minerals & gass after started attacking.. this should be very important to correct

5 things to improve

Take momma and use time bombs & recall if looks bad
Keep the chrono spent
Keep pylons spread in ur base
Scout actively for ninja expos: zealot behind every line? halluphoenixes? 
Spread pylons around the map

Feeling unmotivated ... to do anything

However I should forget everything else and focus on learning _properly_ as many things as possible.

PvZ
scout @ 9mins in PvZ that which structures has: roach-hydra / ling-muta / hydra-queen-swarmhost
scout when Zerg takes 3rd (but what does it mean?)
take momma with you
look @ army all the time when on creep
take 3rd after 2nd immo (unless?)
max and take out when 4 colos
8-12 sentries
if pure z try to keep as ball to decrease effective ling area
if hydra and no good units, ff & retreat
try to do wp&zeal while attacking: 1st attack front, then ff, then drop
if not a 6pool, no cannon @ 16
Split swarhosts with sentries
Use archons to tank damage from swarm hosts
Try to have all tech paths open before 20mins
If swarmhost will not go to mutas in 10mins, because will need roach-hydra to defend sh --> not enough gass --> so can make voids and other units

PvP

if you scout very small army -> go kill
if you destroy a lot of their units -> go kill
if have made alot of immortals -> make alot of zealots and go kill with colos
try to have 3-4 immortals

Keep observer far enough from the enemy ramp

Aim for a diverse unit composition (=death ball) (the order of adding units depends on what u see?)
When you spot a situation which is good for your ball -> go kill
Keep the chrono spent
Scout actively for ninja expos: zealot behind every line? phoenixes?
Destroy expansions from where the army is not, so from opposite side. Retreat in time.
Take momma and use time bombs & recall if looks bad
Do not go through your own storms
Keep pylons spread in ur base
Spread pylons around the map
Make dem probes work == no idle workers
Move wp along the edges..
Make ups constantly
Expand when running out of minerals or when you beat their army
When expanding -> pressure;; BUT do not kill your army, just poke and retreat
Use your extra gass into sentries
Use sentries to delay attacks
Use sentries to split enemy
Use sentires to prevent units from escaping
Use guardian shields
Keep zealots in front
Make ht:s if a lot of gass
Always, always harass when you poke
Always warp zealots if enough gates, at least they will tank

Macro Analysis

There is a consisten gass floatage in PvT
Also maybe too many sentries will slow down getting colotech?

Watching pro replays to see where they put their gaaasss

in WCS S2 First vs. Bomber 2nd match First did not float gass
made twilight really early: twilight & forge before bay BUT HAD ONLY ONE GATE


twilight could have been "gamble", but got scouted so the plan might have changed
--> make forge before bay?

Macro Training Day 5

Game 1 PvT against Dia
Chrono in before 20mins nice, but later should have chronoed robos, also should have made more robo units from multiple robos. Gass floated really badly.. not sure what should have used to. Minerals also started floating quite badly around 15mins..

@ 19:00, 23:42, 28:40 good
@ 22:50 bad

Game 2 PvT
Chrono <3, spending rate <3
not so bad gass flotage, maybe because ups so early?
also upgrades felt to be in nice time, twilight should have been earlier tho..


Game 3 PvT
Everything nice but in the late game floated so much because just had to find all the bases :DD ? Forge timings again good? Defence very good? 2bd robo is nice because then you can replenish better both immortals and colossai.

OMG - found out new bot features - can be potentially used to macro during early pressure ^^

Game 1 PvT MarineStim
Some unused chrono. Attack @ 7:40 - some problems in chrono after this. Also mineral floaty slowly after this. Was ok to tech crazy after beating the early push.


Game 2 PvT MarauderHellion
Bettar chrono. Defence not best. Random floatages. Should try adding a couple of gates at a time and hot like 5 :D

Forgot chono when trying to def. When arrives, how could be scouted?

Problems with chrono. Also with minerals? Should train this more.

Macro Training Day 3

Game 1 PvT
Seems goood, a little bit of a gass float. Maybe templars earlier? Shout I try out with 1 colo, 2 colo and 3 colo? MayBe itsy bitsy more chrono?

Game 2 PvT
Tried 2 colo with range. Some macro problems. Maybe supply blocking too hard..

Game 3 PvT
Against mecher you want also templar because of ravens. A disaster with macro :(, banking minerals way too much. Also more chrono needed!!

Game 4 PvT
Against mecher. It seems to be unclear to me that what kind of ball to make..Chono was at least ok?

Macro Training Day 2

Game 1 PvT
Gass floatage pretty bad? But no need for so many sentries in PvT. Can't really make templars earlier? Any other gass heavy useful unit? Way too few workers!!

Game 2 PvZ
Gass floatery...some mineral floatery..Silly that things are not going as good as they were going yesterday :o. Hmn, I felt as if I was badly supply blocked but GGtracker does not seem to analyze that in any way.

Game 3 PvP
Hmnmnn, not happy

Game 4 Real person PvZ
Outch, so much chono unused.

Game 3 Real person PvZ
Outch, again. Under pressure chronoing is haaaaard.

Game 4 Ladder PvZ - not standard (banelings)
Should try to make gates and tech while keeping eye on the front. Macro was a total disaster.

Game 5 Ladder PvZ - not standard (roaches)
Did let them float a bit was still quite okish. Scouting was a bit bad, did not know about dem hydradens. Maybe slacked in making probes after puush.

Game 6 Ladder PvT
Stopped making workers, failed at chrono. Should have teched to high templars right after they saw colos and maybe pushed out before they had vikings.

Game 7 Ladder PvZ
 Some chrono left unused even if was chronoing phoenixes! Minerals okayish, gass got pretty high.

Macro Training Day 1

Game 1 PvP
If you are taking 3rd quickly you have not banked as much gass so it is better to make archons out of DTs?
2nd forge soonest as you put twilight?

Game 2 PvP
Do multipoint harrasment with zealots while you are waiting for the gass to build up for archons. This will nicely use up the minerals.

Game 3 PvP
Was actually worse!! Maybe because I was not concentrating on a list of specific things?

Game 4 PvT
When to start making ups in PvT? Maybe after 1-3 colos make wps and obs from robo?

Game 5 PvT
Hmn, gass keeps floating..

Game 6 PvT
Less floaty. Macro will be depending on how early terran attacks first. Generally expand and tech after terran 1st attacks. If is very early, just tech more freely (unless 1base)?

Game 7 PvZ
Gass and minerals both look bad :(. I think PvP is best and PvZ is worse still. Spending quotient is till in GM, which is weird. Pylon plasing is hard to train because bot does not destory them in high speed. Maybe harder bot would?

Game 8 PvZ
Cannon rushing makes things butt ugly!

Game 9 PvZ + feelign tired
Some chonoboost left unused. Too few workers. Mineral float maybe not so bad but gass still floatingk.

ARCHK, I AM WAY TOO TIRED TO HIT THE LADDER NOW.

Macro Training - Is it any good?

I have grown tired of hearing that! Thus it is time to do something about that macro slippage.

The Plan:

I am going to macro against AI with several clear goals
1) You are not allowed to float before 200/200
2) Whenever you are floating, make more gates until 20 gates
3) Make probes constantly
4) Use dat chrono boost
5) Must have 3/3 ups before 20 mins
6) Keep main army positioned in a nice location relative to how many bases you are having
7) Try to have a harmonic ball, not spamming any certain unit (would be nice if opponent army was randomly generated for deciding units)

I will do this everyday for a week, maybe?

At the same time - minimum of 10 ladder games per day. After ladder games I need to check if I can keep the macro as good as against AI. It might be a good idea to check the ladder games in the evening.

TLO wisdom

Someone was a dirty lil lurker and  snatched a link from Supr shoutbox to an awesome TLO interview.

Some notes and points that rise during the video:
- Ladder is bad mmmkay
- several (3-5) games in a row against same player is good beneficial practice
- you should actively seek out training partners
- the quality of your opponent is important
- you should concentrate on what makes you become better
- the 1st 2 hours of practice are the most effective ones
- avoid learning bad habits == do not play tired & do not compromise discipline
- concentrate on things you should do better in the game you are in
- do not overthink "he might be thinking that I am thinking so I must therefore"
- learn new things separately as tiny packets as is possible (army splitting)
- it could be ok to learn 1 new build per week :: might help you realize when you can break the rules
- variance in play lets you learn when you can break the rules
- PvP : try to execute their build to feel how they feel
- quitting is never an option (marathon memories)

I took shower - It was full of PvT and the RAGE was goners

I might be losing because of too many immortals --> make less
I need to have colobay earlier --> take notes when was ready and when terran pushed
What addons require u to have more immortals?

When terran pushes they will see colos and transition to  vikings.
Ideally u would tech to ht when u take 3rd + ideally you would take 3rd after u def terran push

1) make 1 colossus, if terran pushes transition to ht
2) make 2 colo and start range as u start 2nd colo, if terran pushes transition to ht
3) make 3rd colo, as terran pushes transition to ht
3) make 3rd colo, if terran contains u push and expand and ht

LIFE SUCKS SO I MADE IMPROVEMENTS !!!?!

I veery often die to a one baser. I have to learn to recognize diz.
Check with phoenix if 1 or 2 bases, and which tech.
--> if one base: stop making probes, do not tech

Tried to tech fast when they were expanding like mad - seemed good?
Stopped making colos once maaany vikings ^-^
Used ramps AND chokes! <3
Do not ff in front of the terran, try to be more calm so that ff will come late enough
Keep momma far enough
Against 3base terran, tech to colos normally - u will need  area dmg when vacs out
Try to maybe tech to templars when 2nd colo? Or anyway when you expand?
Can you deduce anything from starport timing?? What is early and what is late?
Count raxes ( 1-> weird shit, 2-> past 10min pushes, 3-> insane bioshit, no vacs 7-10mins
Factor with reactor --> mines
Too few units...because too few gates? Had 5 gates by 12min, maybe should have had 7 by 12 mins?
Do not make twilight too early, only after 1st colo?

ALL
When taking 3rd or when securing 3rd, keep your army in good position and do not let them lure it away. Maybe some forward scouts?
